Max Styler

🚧 bumpy california indie dance + tech house

san luis obispo, california. he opened for Above & Beyond while he was still in high school, which turned into a support slot for Steve Aoki, which turned into a deal. "Badman" with Autoerotique came out on Dim Mak in november 2014 and aoki called it one of his biggest club records of the year.

that version of him made trap and electro. the one you know now started in january 2023 with the "Wanna Dance" ep on John Summit's Experts Only. a fan later turned the title into a bracelet and handed it to him, which he says is still the best thing anyone has given him.

he closed 2025 as beatport's number one top-selling artist in indie dance and number two in tech house, and they made him artist of the month that january.

I almost think that the whole 'one big song' thing is a little bit dated now.

in october 2025 he started Nu Moda and moved every 2026 release onto it. the label opened with "You & Me", which pulled remixes from Vintage Culture in december and Notre Dame in january, and Solomun reworked "One More" in march.

Nu Moda basically means 'new style.' It's a reminder to push the boundaries, not do the same thing twice, and look for other people who are naturally in that same mindset.

april took him to the yuma tent at coachella and put "Freaky 1" out with Vintage Culture and Ali Love. he is on the 2026 guest list for Solomun +1, and he played lollapalooza chicago on 1 august 2026.

his six track ep I Don't Think I Can Stop is due on Nu Moda on 7 august 2026, with features from kuuda and benni ola, running "Body Shake" to "Templo Disko".
