two swiss producers, both called adrian. Adrian Shala and Adrian Schweizer met in zurich in 2008 and have worked as adriatique since 2009, out of the same city ever since. their own site calls what they do hypnotic techno storytelling.

diynamic picked them up in 2013 and afterlife released the debut album Nude in september 2018, which is still the record the rest is measured against. their most played track is not theirs though. it is their remix of RÜFÜS DU SOL's In the Moment, and it sits at nearly eighty million plays.

they run two labels. Siamese since 2016, which put out its eighth anthology in july 2025, and X Recordings, which has been the home for everything recent and which moved into partnership with warner music in july 2026 for Coming Home.

X is also a show. it started in december 2022 as an audiovisual production and now runs under the name X.FOREVER, with the tagline the future is yet to come. in april 2025 they played the royal albert hall in london, open to close, the first electronic act to do that there.

the 2026 run of X takes in the old royal naval college in greenwich on 8 august, two nights at unvrs in ibiza in september and são paulo at the end of that month. they also play time warp in madrid on 18 september, awakenings during ade on 24 october, and silo in dallas on the thirtieth. recent singles include Lost In The Woods with Elderbrook in february 2026.
